About Allstate Beverage Company
Allstate Beverage Company, LLC of Montgomery, Alabama became a subsidiary of Gulf Distributing Holdings, LLC January 1, 2009. The merger of these companies has created a dynamic beverage distribution enterprise with personnel who want to grow their knowledge and talents.
Allstate Beverage was formed in 1950, named Champagne Velvet Distributing Company, and was owned by Ed Grant. The company has stayed in the Grant Family but changed ownership within the family four times.
In 1961 the business was sold to Charles B. Grant Jr., then named Allstate Beverage Company, and successfully grew under his leadership. In 1987 his sons Walker and Chuck Grant purchased the business and continue to enjoy the competition of the beverage industry.
In the past decade, Allstate Beverage has experienced successful growth through four acquisitions and hard work. The company has become a true beverage distributor by offering to the retailer an awesome portfolio of beer and non-alcohol products. This portfolio of brands combined with dedicated service provides the retailer with professional sales management that can create profitable revenue.
